O'Connor, Feargus Edward
( 18 jul. 1796, Connorville, condado de Cork, Irlanda–30 ago. 1855, Londres, Inglaterra).

Líder irlandés del cartismo. Ejerció de abogado y fue miembro del Parlamento británico (1832–35). Se volvió un agitador radical en Inglaterra y trabajó activamente en el movimiento cartista como un orador público muy popular. Su periódico Northern Star (1837) publicitó ampliamente sus opiniones. Se convirtió en líder de los cartistas en 1841, pero no logró obtener la aprobación de la petición cartista en 1848. Después de un colapso mental, fue declarado demente en 1852.
